- Explored various methods and algorithms for implementing an OCR system.
- Explored various platforms/programming-languages that can be used for our project. We finally decided to do it in Matlab instead of Python or Java.
- Downloaded some e-books on basics of image processing Matlab.
- Downloaded some open-course ware on image processing basics.
- None as of now.
- Get acquainted with the image processing toolbox in Matlab.
- Study and identify the functions and algorithms in Matlab that would be needed for OCR.
- Study some existing projects that have already implemented OCR
